As a woman of color, I’ve navigated diverse platforms/landscapes, and I found solace in both sweet creations and captivating virtual quest; the kitchen was my first realm, and video games we my ultimate escape. Each time I crafted a decadent dessert or conquered a gaming level, I felt a burst of exhilaration that kept stress at bay and invigorated my spirit.
With an educational background in business and psychology, I’ve always understood the importance of mental well-being and the profound impact that joy can have on our lives. My baking journey began with Sweet Work of Art, where I devoted nearly eight years to perfecting the art of unforgettable confections that turn celebration into sweet memorable experiences. However, surrounding this sweet success was a desire to elevate events beyond the ordinary, truly be unique and foster connections that extended beyond cakes.
